A MAC Address (often referred to as a "Physical Address") is a unique identifier for a network device. MAC Addresses are typically displayed as a series of letters and numbers, separated by colons in pairs. They consist of the numbers 0 through 9 and the letters A through F.
You can usually find the MAC Addresses in the System Settings menu of the device, often listed under "About this Device" or similar sections.
For PlayStation 4:
Go to the main menu and select “Settings”.
Scroll down and select “System”, then choose “System Information”.
The MAC address for Wi-Fi will be displayed here.
For XBox One:
From the main menu, navigate to “Settings”
Go to “Network”, then select “Advanced Settings”
For Amazon FireStick:
From the Home screen, navigate to “Settings”
Go to “System”, then select “About” and choose “Network”
For Amazon Alexa:
Download the official Amazon Alexa app on your mobile phone or tablet
Connect to the wireless network created by your Alexa device
Look at the bottom of the Echo Setup screen to find the MAC address.
