Kean University Wi-Fi Network Services

CougarNet

Faculty, students, and staff at Kean University should connect to CougarNet to access on-campus network resources, including printers, network drives, and any applications that are hosted through Kean’s servers. You should use your Kean username and password to connect to this wireless network.

KUAIR 

The KUAIR wireless network is available across the campus for Guests and visitors. Guests and Visitors can connect their devices to the KUAIR network and complete the registration process to access the Internet.  This registration is valid for 48 hours.

Device Self-Registration 

The device Self-Registration portal allows faculty, students, and staff to register additional devices such as smart TVs, IoT devices, and gaming consoles to access Internet services. A user can register up to 10 devices, and the registration is valid for 180 days. After 180 days, users must re-register their devices to continue accessing wireless services. The registered devices should connect to the KUAIR wireless network.

eduroam

Kean University participates in eduroam (education roaming), a free and encrypted worldwide roaming access service designed for the international research and education community. Faculty, students, and staff can access eduroam Wi-Fi at other participating institutions by connecting to the "eduroam" wireless network using your Kean email address and password.  

Visitors from the participating institutions can also access the eduroam service on all Kean campuses.
