Microsoft Azure for Education is a program that allows active students and faculty of academic institutions to download software packages and suites tailored to various academic needs. As a member of the Azure for Education program, Kean University provides access to this platform using your Kean credentials. Please note that the software is intended for instructional and non-commercial research purposes only. Even after graduation, students may continue to use these products for non-commercial activities.
The current subscription is valid until February 23, 2025. Please be aware that renewal of the subscription after this date is not guaranteed.

You may not give copies of downloaded software to anyone else.
To install certain software available in Microsoft Azure Dev Tools, you may need a Product Key. The Product Key will be assigned solely to install or access the authorized software. You may not disclose the Product Key information to anyone else.
You may use the software for instructional or non-commercial research purposes. You may not use the Program software for any for-profit software development.
When you no longer meet the eligibility criteria above, your access to Microsoft Azure Dev Tools will be disabled. However, you may continue to use previously installed products on your computer, provided you continue to follow program guidelines.
If you violate the Terms and Conditions, you may be required to remove the software from your personal-use computer and subject to further disciplinary action.

- Who is eligible to install software from the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools?
To access the software provided under this license, students must be actively enrolled in the current Fall/Spring semester. If it is currently winter or summer break, eligibility extends to the upcoming Fall/Spring semester. Additionally, active Kean faculty members, including adjunct and part-time lecturers, must be teaching at least one course, or engaging in non-commercial research for the University. University staff members who are actively on the payroll are also eligible.
- When will my access to Microsoft Azure Dev Tools expire?
To comply with licensing requirements and avoid risking access for all eligible users, access will be disabled for individuals who no longer meet the specified criteria at each semester transition.
- Can I continue to use software downloaded from Microsoft Azure Dev Tools after I no longer hold an active student, faculty, or staff University affiliation?
Students, faculty, and staff who leave the University may continue using software that was installed on their personal machines prior to their departure.
- Does the product key obtained from Microsoft Azure Dev Tools have an expiration date?
The product keys you receive from Microsoft Azure Dev Tools are perpetual, meaning they do not expire. However, it's important to note that while the subscription date mentioned above doesn't affect the product keys, it does impact the availability of the software.
